Privacy Policy

ELEV8 ("ELEV8," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through elev8bos.com (the "Site"), why we collect it, how we use it and your choices. By using the Site or submitting information to us, you agree to this policy.

Who we are

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you submit our contact form, we collect the information you provide: your name, business name, email address, phone number (if provided), your website URL (if provided), your area of interest, and any message you send. If you email us directly, we receive whatever you include.

Context recorded with an inquiry. So that we can answer you usefully, a submitted inquiry also records which form you used, the page you submitted it from, the button you clicked, the page you first landed on, the referring source, and any campaign parameters in the link you followed (commonly called UTM parameters). This is recorded with your inquiry and is not used to build a profile of you.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we automatically collect certain technical and usage information when you visit, including your IP address, browser type and device information, pages viewed, links clicked, time on page, referring source, and general location (city/region level). We use analytics and product-improvement tools to understand how visitors use the Site, including tools that record aggregated interaction data such as scrolling, clicks, and navigation (for example, heatmaps and session analytics). The tools we use for this are PostHog and Vercel Analytics. Neither loads or collects anything until you consent to the Analytics category in our privacy settings, and both stop collecting if you withdraw that consent. We use this to improve the Site's clarity and performance. We do not use these tools to collect sensitive personal information, and we configure them to avoid capturing information you type into form fields wherever that option is available.

Security and anti-abuse. Our inquiry forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a submission comes from a person rather than an automated script. Turnstile receives technical signals from your browser, including your IP address, in order to make that assessment. This runs because the form cannot be submitted safely without it, so it is not part of the analytics consent above. Inquiry submissions are also rate limited.

Live examples of our work. Some pages show a working ELEV8 environment inside a frame. These load only when you choose to open them: until then you see a still image. Opening one connects your browser to that environment, which may set its own storage and record its own usage information.

Cookies, storage and your consent choice. We use cookies and similar browser storage to operate the Site, remember preferences, and measure performance. We ask for your consent to anything non-essential before it runs, using a consent management platform provided by Usercentrics. Usercentrics stores your choice in your browser and keeps a record of the consent you gave. You can change or withdraw that choice at any time using the Privacy Settings link in the footer of any page. You can also control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some of them may affect how the Site works.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to: respond to your inquiries and provide information you request; communicate with you about our services; provide, maintain, and improve the Site and our services; understand how the Site is used so we can make it better; and comply with our legal obligations. If we send you marketing or commercial electronic messages, we do so in accordance with applicable law (including Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation), and every such message includes a way to unsubscribe.

How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with: service providers who help us operate the Site and our business, who are permitted to use it only to provide those services to us; and authorities or others when required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a business transaction such as a merger or sale. The providers behind this Site are Vercel (hosting and site analytics), Usercentrics (recording your consent choice), PostHog (product analytics), Cloudflare (Turnstile anti-abuse checks on our forms) and Resend (delivering inquiry emails to us and your confirmation to you). Some of these providers process or store data outside your province or country, including in the United States; where that happens, your information may be subject to the laws of those jurisdictions.

How we protect and keep your information

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described here or as required by law, then delete or de-identify it.

Your choices and rights

You may: ask what personal information we hold about you and request a copy; ask us to correct or update it; ask us to delete it (subject to legal limits); and unsubscribe from our commercial messages at any time using the link in the message or by contacting us. To make any request, email hello@elev8bos.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law (for example, under Canadian privacy law, or, where applicable, the EU/UK GDPR); we will honor those rights as required.

Children

The Site is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under the age of majority. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Effective date" above reflects the latest version. Material changes will be posted on this page.
